City tax revenue down again

City and county sales and use tax receipts were again down for the month of July, according to the latest figures published in the August issue of City and Town Magazine, the official publication of the Arkansas Municipal League. Gentry's municipal levy receipts for July were $52,553, down from $80,097 last year. County sales and use taxes for Gentry during July were $40,666, down from $43,420 last year.
