Northwest Arkansas Genealogical Society will meet August 24 at 6 p.m. at Bentonville Public Library. Bryce A. Chandler, drummer boy re-enactor, historian and author, will appear in costume telling what life was life during the 1860's. He will give a speech, "If My People: America's Quest for Liberty" , about the similarities between the Revolution and the Civil War. Another feature will be the heart rending sound of the historical six-hole fife and the inspiring cadence of a replica snare drum. The public is welcome.
