GRAVETTE — Geraldine Bass
Geraldine “Gerry” Bass, 68, of Bentonville, died Wednesday, December 16, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. She was born March 12, 1941, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Tony Bingham and Hester Mae Thomas.
Mrs. Bass was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 17 years, serving as president at both the local and district president.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Eugene Bass of the home; one son, Thomas Edward Bass of Bentonville; two daughters, Melody Dawn Hight and husband Larry of Springdale and Maeva Louise Selby and husband James of Bentonville; two brothers; eight grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
Funeral services were held at noon Monday, December 21, at Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Bentonville. Burial was at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
