Lloyd Randall “Randy” Cockrell

Lloyd Randall “Randy” Cockrell, 57, of Colcord, Okla., died Jan. 2, 2010, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs.

He was born in Siloam Springs on Nov. 29, 1952, the son of Wayne Cockrell and Imogene Rouse Cockrell. He lived in Colcord all his life and retired as a maintenance mechanic for Gates Rubber Company in Siloam Springs. He served in the National Guard for six years. He married Mary E. Welch in Benton County on Dec. 4, 1971. He was a member of Countryside Bible Church in Colcord.

He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife Mary of the home; two daughters, Angie Copeland and husband Emery of Phoenix, Ariz., and Amber Anderson and husband Tony of Colcord; his mother Imogene Cockrell of Colcord; one granddaughter; one brother, Kenny Cockrell and wife Lynette of Rose, Okla.; two sisters, Carolyn Duncan and husband Ken of Siloam Springs, and Mary Dixon and husband Leon of Watts, Okla.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Logan Shelley and Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Dickson Cemetery near Cherokee City. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Wasson Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Steve Allen Fultz

Steve Allen Fultz, infant son of Kenneth and Tiffany Bartnick Fultz, died Jan. 1, 2010, at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville.

Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Tiffany Fultz of Decatur; paternal grandparents David and Kim Fultz of Decatur; maternal grandparents Robert and Jayne Christensen of Centerton; one brother, Danny Fultz of the home; and two sisters, Lara Bartnick and Haylie Fultz of the home.

A graveside service was held Monday at Rogers City Cemetery’s Babyland. Arrangements were by Rollins Funeral Home.

Loretta Mae Riley

Loretta Mae Riley, 73 of Springtown, died Dec. 30, 2009, in Bentonville.

She was born July 22, 1936, in Springdale to Harvey Riley and Juanita Elliott Riley. She grew up in Arkansas and worked for many years as a guard at Centurian Security of Rogers. She also lived for a period of years in Woodville, Texas, returning to Arkansas in 2002. She served as mayor of Springtown and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3031, in Rogers. She enjoyed animals and antique shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, June Riley Myers.

She is survived by two sons, William Kennet McDurmond Jr. of Rogers and Lonnie McDurmond and wife Marcia of Rogers; two brothers, Marvin Riley and wife Genny of Springtown, and Gary Riley of Iowa; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Monday at the Springtown Cemetery, with Mark Rotramel officiating. Arrangements were by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
