Local family delivers kits to Salvation Army

— The Ballmann family of Maysville recently delivered 200 emergency kits to the Salvation Army unit in Siloam Springs to assist in humanitarian efforts.

Items such as shampoo, soap and toiletries were left at Care and Share. Combs, toothpaste and brushes and wash clothswere donated by Teasley and Austin Drug Stores, dentists Dr. Evans and Dr. Leonard and the Ozarks Community Hospital and supplemented with cash to complete the kits.

Similar kits are welcomed and needed, Bert Ballmann said. For information on how you or your organization can help, contact the Salvation Army or the Ballmann family.
