Students attend tech boot camp

— DECATUR - Nine students from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts, including Tait Clements, of Decatur, and Chance Key, of Gravette, attended a Microsoft Boot Camp at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock on Sept. 15.

At the boot camp, students learned how to build applications and games for the new Microsoft Phone 7, which will be released in October.

Key is the son of Scottand Laveta Key, and Clements is the son of Heidi and Anthony Migliori and Thomas Clements.

The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts, located in Hot Springs, is one of 15 public residential high schools in the country specializing in the education of academically gifted juniors and seniors. Located in the historic downtown of Hot Springs, the school is a campus of the University of Arkansas system.
