The snowstorm sure put a stop to people visiting or even being able to get out for anything else. Hopefully we have got all the snow we will get this winter.

A longtime Maysville resident, Joan Bryson, passed away. Her services were last Monday at the Piney Church. Burial was in Piney Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Steven Snyder of Bartlesville, Okla., visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker the day before the big snowstorm came.

Orpha Wardlaw went to Little Rock weekend before last to spend some time with her daughter, Christi Wardlaw. Christi and some other ladies from her church were getting ready for a mission trip to Africa.

Tracy Warren visited me for a short time Sunday afternoon. I always enjoy her coming by.

Billy and Violet Lovell had a family get-together Sunday, the 13th, to celebrate Jewel Lukens’ 92nd birthday. Happy Birthday, Jewel. Hope you have many more.

The Maysville Bible Church had a potluck dinner after church Sunday. We were glad to have visitors. We always welcome them.

There was a water leak in the Bible Church yard during the big snow. It has been fixed.

A trailer house on South Main in Maysville burned down this week. Don’t have names of the occupants.

Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday is our club meeting at the community building. Melinda Crawley will be hostess for the lunch at noon. She also has the lesson.
