Earl’s Garage set to provide evening entertainment leading up to fireworks

— Earl’s Garage, a northwest Arkansas group which has been entertaining for the past several years at the Gentry Freedom Festival, will be back again this year for more.

The group which sings the blues, as well as other pop music of past decades, draws a crowd and livens up the evening aspeople from all over the region gather to watch the fireworks display at dusk in Gentry’s park.

In addition to Gentry’s own Alan Lamb on the keyboard and Kevin Carl Bonner on the drums, the group features Dawn and Devin Cate, the daughter and son of Earl Cate of the Cate BrothersBand; Bart Keener, a founding member of the band with more than two decades of experience on the guitar; and Vince Turner, another founding member, on the bass guitar.

The group is known for playing some of the finest blues, rhythm and blues, and soul music in the mid-south region. From EurekaSprings to Little Rock, Tulsa to Memphis, Earl’s Garage has played the stages of some of the finest venues available, bringing its dynamic, high-energy show to the people.

The group will take the stage at 8:15 p.m. and play until the fireworks begin to lighten up the night skies.
