Decatur ACE Match

DECATUR — Senior Jessica Varner and junior Sayer Smith answered a question for the Gravette Academic Challenge in Education team during the match last Wednesday.

Teams from Gentry, Gravette and Shiloh Christian participated in the ACE match held in the Decatur High School gymnasium. High school students competed in a game-show style quiz, answering tough academic questions. The Shiloh Christian team won the match with 47 points, Gravette placed second with 26 points and Decatur placed third with 16 points. The ACE Match was broadcast on the KURM radio station.

The championship match will be held on March 2, at the Jones Center in Springdale, according to Gravette sponsor Alison Schaffer.
