Heart attack called apparent cause of Gravette accident

— A Pea Ridge man was discovered in his pickup after it left the road east of Gravette last Tuesday evening.

Michael Eugene Villines, 57, was driving west on Highway 72 about three miles east of Gravette when the vehicle left the road, struck a fence post and came to rest in a field. Witnesses reported the accident.

According to Arkansas State Police the man was transported to Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette where he was pronounced dead. He was wearing a seat belt and died of an apparent heart attack.

Villines was a district manager for Walmart for 33 years and was active in many Pea Ridge community affairs.

Funeral services were held May 14 at the First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.
