Next Monday is Halloween. If you are out on the streets that night, watch out for the little goblins. Keep them safe.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Thomas Kean for their loss. He passed away at home on Saturday morning.

On Thursday morning we awoke to white fields, our first frost of the season. Personally, I’d like to just skip winter and go into spring.

The Presley family held a family reunion at the Hiwasse Christian Church on Saturday. There was a lot of visiting and catching up.

The former Sherry Sangwin and her grandson were visiting in the area over the weekend.

Those having lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier, Mike and Gabe on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier, Skylar and Brandon and myself.

Robert Brooks, from Ola, visited briefly with his dad, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks, on Saturday evening.

Congratulations to all from the area who won at the state fair.
