— Sympathy is extended to the family of Joy Lee McKeehan who passed away on Monday. Joy Lee was raised in Hiwasse, the daughter of Frank and Nell Reynolds. Services were Friday with burial in the Bentonville Cemetery.

Thankfully, my son Wade and his family all escaped injury in the tornadoes Tuesday afternoon. One grandson did have hail damage to his vehicle.

Bob and Vickie Holloway are the proud parents of a new baby boy, born Thursday night and named Samuel Lee.

Glory be! The road grader made several trips up and down Carrier Lane on Friday and I still have telephone service. They made a big improvement on the road too. Thank you.

Deepest sympathy is sent to the Scantlin family for their loss.

Those having lunch with me on Easter Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier, Mike and Gabe Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks, Dale-Lynn Carrier, Trevor and Emily Blevins.

The Keith family enjoyed an Easter dinner at the home of their daughter and sister Saturday evening.

Marlo Hamilton has been visiting family here for a few days. Amanda and children and Dean Fletcher joined them all at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton for lunch and a big egg hunt on Sunday. Robert Paul had to work.
