Complex to be named after Reynolds

— Gentry Public Schools has announced the dedication of Gentry High School’s softball and baseball fields, in honor of the late Merrill Reynolds, at 4 p.m., Friday, March 2.

The complex will be named theReynolds Memorial Complex in honor of Reynolds, who served for many years on the Gentry School Board and also as a volunteer coach for Gentry teams. Each year Reynolds spent countless hours preparing the fields and helping with coaching duties for Gentry teams.

Reynolds died last August when he was pinned between his truck’s trailer and another trailer at the Tyson Foods plant in Springdale.

The public is invited to attend the ceremonies and to stay and watch the Gentry games, following the dedication.
