GENTRY — The Gentry High School Forensics Team went to the Arkansas Communication and Theater Arts Association Tournament of Champions in Cabot on April 20-21. The team sent a school record 28 events to the tournament and finished with a school record nine state semi-finalists and one state finalist.
Semifinalists were: Cheyenne Dodson - Oratory and Humorous/Dramatic Interpretation; Emily Bond - Oratory; Josie Graves - Poetry; Kassie Hammond - Poetry; Remmy Dalrymple - Humorous/Dramatic Interpretation; Gabe Coones - Prose; Katalina Hurt -- Prose; and Haylee Brigance - Prose.
The state finalist was Cheyenne Dodson - Humorous/Dramatic Interpretation.
