Job fair planned in September

GRAVETTE - Gravette Public Library announced its annual job fair will be held Sept. 19 and 20. The announcement comes from Kim Schneider, library director, who said area business and professional persons are being lined up to conduct the two-day event.

The fair, as in the past, will provide instruction for writing resumes, participating in interviews and providing general information for people who are searching for new jobs or for those who may be seeking to upgrade their employment.

The two-day fair will be held Thursday and Friday during the third week in September, and anyone who wishes to take advantage of this free fair should make plans to attend.

“People who have attended the past two years’ fairs have said the information provided has been very helpful,” Schneider said. “Last year, we helped several folks get back to work.”

“I need some bilingual folks to help me with fliers to advertise the fair, particularly persons who can provide translations from English to other languages,” Schneider said.
