Gravette fire department training exercise

Photo by Dodie Evans Members of the Gravette Fire Department spray water on a house which burned last Saturday morning. The residence, located on Second Avenue S.W., had been unoccupied for several years and Fire Chief David Smith's department burned the structure as part of a training session. This included water and mist spraying on the burning building to prevent damage to homes on either side of the house. This was one of several deteriorating structures which have been used for training purposes during recent months.
