GENTRY -- The invitation reads, "Spring brings April showers, budding plants and ... Lucille Hogue's 90th birthday!" Family members are hosting a special event this Saturday to celebrate her birthday.
The event honoring Lucille, a longtime Gentry resident, will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on April 26 in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church of Gentry.
A light buffet will be available. Family members from all over the country will be coming to celebrate the occasion, including Lucille's 92-year-old sister, a former Gentry resident.
Area friends and family are asked to join them.
