We have had some good temperatures this week for July and a good rain coming into August. I guess we had better enjoy it. It's hard to know what August will be like.
This coming Sunday, Aug. 10, is the Tucker family reunion at the Maysville Community Center. Our group was small last year. We're hoping it will be better this year. We always welcome friends. We usually eat at 1 p.m. and always have plenty of good food.
Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Saturday and spent the night. She also visited Ronnie and Debbie Sims before going home Sunday.
Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one day last week.
Gravette Day is coming up this Saturday, Aug. 9. It's always good to visit with friends and enjoy the parade. There are always several class reunions this weekend.
Jack and Sylvia Tucker are proud great-grandparents of a baby boy. The parents are Wesley and Sammie Story. They live in Texas and have a two-year-old daughter. Congratulations to the parents.
Clifton Tucker came by for a short visit one day last week. I always enjoy his coming by and visiting .
He also visited his sister, Helen Chism, before leaving town.
