GRAVETTE -- MDX Group, Inc., has announced the purchase of Captain Sports, a Georgia-based firm, and MDX president Kurt Maddox says he will relocate the business to downtown Gravette.
MDX will have IT, marketing and shipping of Captain Sports based in Gravette. The orthopedic sports therapy group has been a leader in high-quality sports braces and products at reasonable prices for several years.
Maddox says the move will mean job opportunities for area residents.
"We look forward to creating 10 new positions in Northwest Arkansas and the city of Gravette within the next 12 months," he said.
"The Captain Sports line of orthopedic products provides athletes and active individuals with the most effective support possible to return to activity after injury or to help prevent injuries," stated the MDX news release. "Developed in coordination with physical therapists, doctors and athletes, Captain's innovative products continue to raise the bar in orthopedic supports."
Captain Sports products may be found on Amazon, eBay and on several Pain Central websites and in retail centers around the United States.
