I apologize for no news the last few weeks. It was 12 days before I was able to get my pickup up my driveway. My sons took me to work, church and the store as needed.

Yes, there are wolves in northwest Arkansas. A few mornings ago when I went out to get my paper I saw one go across the hill behind my house.

On Feb. 2, Paula Carrier fixed an early birthday lunch for her husband, Ward. Others helping him celebrate were his children Mike, Gabe, Diane, Tom and Amy, also Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Skylar Carrier, Jessica and Madison.

Billy Habermehl has spent some time in the VA hospital at Fayetteville and this week had to make a trip to Little Rock for an appointment at the hospital there.

Pam Bertschy has been in and out of the hospital. We hope she soon has relief and is well again.

Sympathy is extended to the Arnold Murray family for their loss. Arnold was well known in the area. Sympathy to the Putman family. Several of us remember Jerry from our school days. It was good to see Annette Banks able to be in church on Sunday. We hope Rick soon recovers and is able to attend also. Joan Lowe is having problems as is the Habemehl family. Please keep all our sick in your prayers.
