Maysville News

Seems like another warm day. I guess we can expect it here in the middle of July. I'm sure it will be warmer in August. I just hope we get some rain.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Thursday, spent the night and went home on Friday. They had a good visit.

I went to Broken Arrow, Okla., Sunday with my sister, Frances Sims of Bentonville, and her friend Betty. We had planned a late birthday party for our brother, Jim Vandiver. There were 60 of us present with plenty of good visiting. A lot of those attending were square dancing friends from Muskogee, Okla. It was a great day and a big surprise for Jim.

A fellowship dinner was held after the morning service Sunday at Maysville Bible Church. I was told they had plenty of good food and fellowship. I missed that dinner.

Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker on Sunday afternoon. They always enjoy a good visit.

My great-granddaughter, Skyler Warren, took me and her grandma, Helen Chism, on a shopping trip Tuesday, then we ate out before coming home. My great-grandson, Billy Cook, also went with us. It was an enjoyable day.
