Maysville News

This week has been cool. It sure didn't seem like July. We will have different weather in August.

We are glad to report Jewel Crawley is in the Gravette Hospital now. She has enjoyed the company she has had. She is improving but will be there for a while.

Nathan Whisenant of Gentry was at church at the Maysville Bible Church Sunday morning. He led the singing and also sang a special which we enjoyed.

Orpha Wardlaw's visitors this week were her two grandchildren from Tulsa, Selena and Zack Fincher. She will be taking them home. She sure enjoys them coming over.

Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday, July 24, is regular club meeting. It will be at the community building. Berti Ray is hostess for the lunch. We welcome visitors.

Clifton Tucker of Bella Vista came by for a short visit on Tuesday. I always enjoy him coming by.

I had a good phone visit with Jo Ellen Tucker of Indiana last week. She said they were in need of rain. She wasn't sure if she would make it back this summer or not. As of now she won't be coming. We always miss her if she's not at the Tucker reunion. It is coming up soon, the second Sunday in August.
