DECATUR -- Horton Hears a Who? No, this is not a question but the title of one of the most famous books written by legendary children's author, Dr. Seuss.

March 3-7 was Dr. Seuss Week at Northside Elementary in Decatur. As part of the festivities, each Northside class had to decorate its door in the theme of one of Dr. Seuss' books. At the end of the week, the doors were judged in two categories, Pre-K-2 and 3-6. Each category had a winner and runner-up.

In the Pre-K through second grade, Cara Piakowski won for her "Horton Hears a Who" theme. Devon Courtney was the runner-up for her "Reading Helps Us Grow" entry.

In the grades three to six group, Bobby Witcher won for the "Hats Off to Our Favorite Books" display, while Dorie Dezurik's door was the runner-up for her "Unless Someone Like You Cares A Whole Awful Lot, Nothing's Going to Get Better. It's Not!"
