By the time you read this, the election will be over. Maybe there won't be as much junk mail to fill your trash cans, and maybe your phone won't be ringing as much.

Longtime Hiwasse resident Madelyn Nichols passed away last week. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Sympathy is extended to her family.
