Ole Timers meet

The group at our last meeting of the G.M.C.H. Ole Timers was the biggest bunch of Ole Timers ever, 26 in all.

Mostly we had a really good time except for one of us, Dorothy Davidson. Dorothy, don't scare us like that again! Dorothy got sick suddenly and had to be taken to the E.R. in Gravette but, as of this writing, she is back home after an overnight stay in the hospital. Stay well, Dorothy, and we will see you next time.

The gang met in Decatur at The Gallery Cafe on Thursday, Sept. 11. Those attending were Dorothy Davidson and her cousin (with all the excitement I didn't get her name), Gloria Chambers, Tom and Lawanda King, Lin Beeler, Bert Ballman, Linda Tucker, Maxine and Gary Soule, Phyllis Burnett, Betty Moore, Lark Hallum, Juanita Whiteside, Carol Loux, Fred Thompson, Bob and Janie Lagore, Mike and Elaine Holloway, Kathryn Ramirez, Rose Crose, Bill Cleveland, Marie Kane, Katy Kane (sorry, I can't remember married name) and me, Snooky Garrett.

We will meet again at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 5, at The Gallery in Decatur. We are hoping for another big turnout.
