Gentry falls to Gravette

GENTRY -- The Lady Pioneers fell to the Lady Lions in the closing game of the season and then again in the opening game of district play.

On Thursday, Gravette overpowered the Gentry girls and won the contest in three straight sets. The junior varsity girls also fell to Gravette on two straight sets even though they led in the second until the end.

And, on Monday when the Gravette varsity girls returned for district play, the Lady Lions beat Gentry, 3-1.

On Oct. 13, Gentry lost to Huntsville, 3-0.
