Church on the Hill hosts egg hunt at Old Town Park

Lots of eggs were scattered throughout Old Town Park in Gravette on Saturday afternoon when the Church on the Hill hosted an egg hunt there for youngsters up to 6th grade.

Youngsters spread out over the hills and hollows on the slopes of Old Town Park Saturday afternoon hunting eggs in the event sponsored by Church on the Hill. Many hunters turned out and it wasn't long before the eggs disappeared into the children's baskets.

When the music stopped a row of youngsters stopped to look at the numbers under their feet in the cake walk at Old Town Park Saturday afternoon. The popular event brought out several participants to compete for a chance to win Little Debbie snack cakes.

The petting zoo was a popular spot for the younger crowd at the egg hunt in Old Town Park Saturday afternoon. Several youngsters at a time climbed into the circle of hay bales to hold the baby chicks and pet the pair of young goats.

A trio of young ladies hammed it up, "Hollywood style," they said, in the photo booth at Old Town Park Saturday afternoon. Alexis Standefer and Kylee Lowry of Decatur and Addison Lingo of Gravette donned bunny ears and bunny masks to pose for the camera.

A large backdrop painted with colorful flowers, a butterfly and a bunny provided a frame for the faces of these four young ladies Saturday afternoon at Old Town Park. After the egg hunt Addison Lingo of Gravette, Alexis Standefer and Kylee Lowry of Decatur and Amy Smith of Gravette peered through the openings to have their photo taken.
