We have been getting some good rains this last week. It's sure making the grass grow. I'm sure the farmers are glad to be getting this rain on their hay fields.

Patti King and Petru of Lowell visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker on Saturday. They spent the night and returned home Sunday.

Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday is club day. Sylvia Tucker is hostess for the lunch. Orpha has the cultural art. The helpful hint can be by anyone who has one. Visitors are welcome.

Clifton Tucker of Bella Vista visited me a while one day last week while he was in this territory. I usually have an errand or two for him to run for me when he comes. He doesn't mind doing it.

My brother Jim Vandiver, from Broken Arrow, Okla., and his friend Darlene came after me last Wednesday morning. We went to Elm Springs for the funeral and burial of our nephew, Bobby Vandiver. After the services were over 15 of us went to Cracker Barrel in Springdale to eat before some of the relatives had to leave to return to their homes in Florida.

Orpha Wardlaw spent some time in Tulsa last week with her daughter and family, Steve and Eva Rea (Wardlaw) Fincher and children Selena and Zack. She also went to see Ernestine (Tucker) Breeding in the hospital at Tulsa. Ernestine is doing better and is in rehab now.

Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker on Saturday. Carroll is doing better after his accident. I'm glad he is improving and so is he.
