Amos still farming at 90

Submitted Photo A surprise birthday party was held for Dean Amos on Feb. 1 at Falling Springs Church. There were 54 guests in attendance to help him celebrate his 90th birthday. All of his children were there, along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dean Amos was born Feb. 1, 1925, to Lester and Mabel Amos in Decatur, where he lives and still farms on the same place where he was born. He has lived in the area all his life and continues to raise cattle and farm.
