GENTRY -- Cody Watson and Zach Ellis each took second in their weight class at the Arkansas State High School Wrestling Tournament held Friday and Saturday in Little Rock.
Following are results for the Gentry wrestling team:
Tommie Lor, freshman, 106 pound, sixth place; Tivon Lor, sophomore, 113 pound, unable to compete due to an injury; 120 pound, open; 126 pound, open; Kong Lor, junior, 132 pound, won two matches; Avery Cozens. sophomore, 138 pound, won one match; Austin Trimble, sophomore, 145 pound, won two matches; James Fell, junior, 152 pound, won two matches; Matthew Nance, freshman, 160 pound, won two matches; 170 pound, open; Cody Watson, senior, 182 pound, finished in second place as state runner up and won the Big West Regional Tournament (comprised of all 14 Northwest Arkansas schools that compete in wrestling); Dylan Murphy, junior, 195 pound, won two matches; Kaven Flesner, junior, 220 pound, won one match; Zach Ellis, senior, 285 pound, finished in second place as state runner up and finished third in the Big West Regional Tournament.
