Memorial Day program set for Gravette

— Gravette American Legion Post 25 is hosting the May 25 Memorial Day program at Hillcrest Cemetery. All veterans, their families and the community at-large are invited to attend and participate in this program to remember and honor those who have served in this nation's Armed Services and those who are still serving.

Featured speaker will be State Senator Jim Hendren, who is also a USAF officer.

The Girl Scouts will present the Colors and lead in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Gravette High School band will provide patriotic music throughout the program.

Hillcrest Cemetery is located on Arkansas Highway 59, just north of the junction with Highway 72 in Gravette. Post 25 will have the flags up throughout the cemetery, with smaller flags at veteran grave sites. The program will start promptly at 10 Monday morning.

In the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved to the Gravette Civic Center, Charlotte and Fourth, SE.
