GRAVETTE -- The Gravette Lions fell to the Pottsville Apaches in an away non-conference game on Friday, 34-27.
The Apaches jumped ahead, picking up two touchdowns in the opening quarter to Gravette's one and point after, but Gravette picked up two more TDs and points after in the second quarter to end the half up, 21-20.
Pottsville answered in the third with a TD and two-point conversion to take back the lead. Both teams moved the ball across the goal line once in the final quarter, making it 34-27, Pottsville.
Jackson Soule' was selected the defensive Gravette football player of the game.
