Gravette brings home victories from Greenland

GRAVETTE -- The Lady Lions were able to come back from a 10-point deficit in the second half and squeak out a one-point lead before the final buzzer in play against the Lady Pirates of Greenland on Nov. 29.

Cally Kildow, a freshman, led the Gravette girls with 13 points. Jessica Bookout, a sophomore, had 12 and Tori Foster, a junior, had nine. Bookout hit two three-pointers out of five attempts.

Stephanie Pinter, a senior, led in rebounds with eight.

On the boys' side, the Lions easily defeated the Pirates, 52-26. No scoring stats were reported in the Nov. 29 game at Greenland.

The scheduled games against Shiloh Christian on Friday were canceled because of Shiloh's involvement in the state football playoffs.
