Dr. Alan and Sherri Lamb, of rural Siloam Springs, have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Alison Sculley Lamb, of Tulsa, Okla., to Charles "Austin" Birnie of Tulsa.
The bride to be is a graduate of Siloam Springs High School and has a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education from John Brown University in Siloam Springs. She is a teacher at Rosa Parks Early Childhood Education Center in Tulsa and is a member of PEO, Chapter FE, in Tulsa.
Her grandparents are the late Grady and Kathleen Lamb and the late Harold and Bette Sculley.
The prospective groom is the son of Greg and Susan Birnie of Tulsa. His grandparents are Jim and Dolores Treat of Tulsa, and Charlie and Jo Birnie of Tulsa.
He is a graduate of Cascia Hall Preparatory School in Tulsa. He has a bachelor of arts degree in economics and philosophy from the University of Chicago and juris doctor from Duke University School of Law. He is an attorney with Conner & Winters, LLP, in Tulsa.
The couple plans to wed on May 13, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church in Siloam Springs.
