Gravette man charged in Gentry hit-and-run

GENTRY -- Police in Gentry have requested charges be filed against Timothy J. Gordon, 33, of Gravette in connection with a hit-and-run accident in Gentry on Jan. 14. According to police reports, Gordon is alleged to have backed a pickup truck into a Gentry woman's car at the intersection of Main Street and Arkansas Highway 59 and then sped off on Highway 59.

According to police reports, Gordon was later identified when the Sulphur Springs Police Department located the pickup truck there and notified Gentry police.

According to police reports, a warrant was being sought for Gordon in connection with careless and prohibitive driving and fleeing the scene of a property-damage accident.

No injuries were reported in the accident.
