Lady Bulldogs struggle as season winds down

DECATUR -- The Decatur Lady Bulldogs senior girls' basketball team played three games last week. The first of these games was at home in Peterson Gym in Decatur Feb. 2 when the Lady Bulldogs took on the Lady Hornets of Hackett.

The Lady Hornets took the lead early in the game and the Lady Bulldogs were unable to catch up, falling 60 to 23.

The girls continued to struggle against the Leftwich Rattlers at Peterson Gym in Decatur Feb. 4. It was all Lady Rattlers as they totally dominated the Lady Bulldogs. Leftwich took the victory, 42 to 14.

The Lady Bulldogs then traveled south to meet the Lady Dragons of Mountainburg where they fell, 51 to 22.

The Lady Bulldogs were to take on the Lady Highlanders of Eureka Springs for their final home game of the season last night (after press time). They travel south to Magazine to take on the Lady Rattlers of Leftwich Feb. 12 for the final regular season game.
