Gravette holds awards assembly

GRAVETTE -- The 2016 awards assembly was held at Gravette High School on Friday, May 13 in the performing arts center at the school. Special awards given at the beginning of the assembly included: Teacher of the Year, Daniel Wietecha; Daughters of the American Revolution Award, Ashley Mayo; NWACC, Jaye Chalk, Jillian Greenway, Lauren Lambert, Kaitlyn Sands, Kara Smith; Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Stephanie Pinter, Nathania McKenzie, Maricruz Garcia; John Philip Sousa Award, Rachel Jones; Governor's Award for Musical Excellence, Corey Weeks.
