GRAVETTE -- Lavon Stark, president of the Gravette Kiwanis Club, presented Kiwanis membership pins to two new members at their regular meeting last Friday morning. Tammie Loyd and Heather Finley were welcomed into the club.

Dan Yates gave a report on the community fall festival hosted by the hospital. Several members helped park cars, and the club donated over 400 pieces of candy for the event.

Brenda Yates reported that she and three other members had helped with the middle school Builder's Club dance.

Patrick Hall invited members to attend a Rogers Kiwanis program on the new Northwest Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Steve Huckriede gave a report on the Renaissance fair.

The program was given by officers of the high school Key Club and their sponsor, Jacki Rieff. The Gravette club will send two students from the Key Club to the Kiwanis leadership camp.
