The Highfill Economic Homemakers Club met April 17 in the Gentry Library. Jeanie Hittson called the meeting to order. We had no guests. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Our song was "Let the Sun Shine In."
Roll call was answered with our volunteer hours. We had a total of 165 1/2 hours. Inspirational thoughts were shared by Sue Etris. We had no new ideas to share.
Minutes were read and the treasurer's report was given.
County Council will be Friday at Cave Springs. Jeanie Hittson will do our centerpiece.
Sue Etris had the lesson on "Side By Side Comparison." It was very interesting.
We adjourned with the reading of the club creed.
If any are interested, we meet the third Monday of the month at 10 a.m. in the Gentry Library. We welcome all.
