DECATUR -- Decatur High School Bulldogs will hold their annual Colors Day Celebration at Peterson Gym in Decatur on Jan. 20, when they host the St. Paul Saints.
A pep rally at Peterson Gym in Decatur is set to begin at 2 p.m., and the entire student population of the Decatur School District will fill the stands to capacity as it shows support for both the boys' and girls' Decatur basketball teams.
The Colors Day coronation, the second event of the day, will take place in Peterson Gym at 5:30 p.m.
Vying for the 2017 Colors Day crown are seniors Isabel Rodriguez, Meagan Smith, Jordan Arevalo and Michelle Vang. Rounding out the court are juniors Johnna Herron and Mathline Jesse, sophomore Paige Vann and freshman Tabitha Tilley. Their escorts for the evening are Leng Lee, Bracy Owens, Marck Guadarrama, Wyatt Bingham, Ayden Cooke, Jay Porter, Garry Woods and Taylor Haisman.
The celebration concludes with the Colors Day games between the Lady Bulldogs and Lady Saints at 6 p.m., followed by the Bulldogs' and Saints' game at 7:15 p.m.
