GENTRY -- Head Start and Early Head Start in Gentry hosted the preschool's first Community Art Show on July 11 and featured the artwork of children in Head Start programs, ages 7 months to 5 years.

Parents and guests visited the classroom areas and viewed the children's artwork and talked to teachers and staff members.

All proceeds from the show go to its Dollar Per Child Campaign, the only source of funding for the National Head Start Association. The art show was held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, at 208 S. Giles Ave., Gentry.
