GRAVETTE — The Gravette swimming pool opened for the summer on Friday, May 26. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission to the pool is $1 for children, 8 and under, and $2 for ages 9 and up. A family of up to four can purchase a pass for $100, with a charge of $10 for each additional person. Individual passes are available for $50.
Water aerobics sessions for seniors are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m.
The pool can be rented for parties from 6:30 to 8:30 in the evening. Rental fee is $75 for one to 25 people and $100 for a party of more than 25.
A swimming class was started Monday and will continue through June 15. Classes are Monday through Thursday morning, and students may choose a class beginning at 10 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. The charge for the eight class sessions is $50. Two more swimming classes, taught by the pool lifeguards, are scheduled June 19-29 and July 3-13.
Kendra Greenhaw returns as pool manager this summer. She will share lifeguard duties with Cameron Shaffer, Ryan Shaffer, Corbin Anderson, Cori Overstreet, Makayla Hendricks and Dylan Hendricks.
