Wright allowed just three hits and struck out 10 in a complete-game effort to power the Blackhawks to the 3A/4A Conference win. Chandler Tidwell was 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBIs to lead the Blackhawks at the plate. Tyler Odell was 2-for-2 and Jakota Sainsbury drove in a pair of runs.

Ayden Smart took the loss for Gentry. The Pioneers got a solid relief effort from Myles McFerron, who struck out six batters in three innings and did not allow a hit.
