DECATUR -- Decatur Public Schools will honor its retirees and teacher of the year winners with a reception at Decatur Northside Elementary May 23 at 3:30 pm. Members of the community are invited to attend as the school honors Jane McAddo, Coach Richard Perrodin and Bill Weidemann and the teacher of the year award winners are announced.
Jane McAdoo, elementary custodian, is retiring after 17 years. Coach Perrodin, elementary physical education teacher, is retiring after 21 years with the district. Weidemann is retiring after 11 years.
