Gentry Police Blotter

GENTRY -- Policed cited and released Sierra Elwood, 23, of Gentry, in connection to public intoxication when she was found walking along Arkansas Highway 12 in Gentry at 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 29. According to police reports, Elwood was unsteady on her feet and had gotten lost walking between Sonic and her motel room at the Gentry Motel. Police reports say she tested more than .21 on a portable breathalyzer test.

On Oct. 21, police arrested Marco A. Bolanos, 27, of Gentry, in connection with charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol. According to police reports, Bolanos was driving a maroon Cadillac which was alleged to have run other drivers off the road and nearly struck a telephone pole. A portable breath test performed by police indicated a blood alcohol level of more than .35 and a breathalyzer test at the Benton County Sheriff's office indicated a blood alcohol level of .354.

On Oct. 19, police arrested Jeremy S. Fredrick, 41, of Fayetteville, in connection to a domestic battery which allegedly occurred as Fredrick and his girlfriend were driving down Main Street in Gentry. Fredrick is alleged to have become angry with his girlfriend and punched her in the face, causing her nose to bleed. According to police reports, Fredrick was located hiding in the women's restroom at EZ-Mart in Gentry. Due to previous domestic violence charges in Washington County, the Gentry charge is a felony, police reports say.
