Plans are shaping up for the annual city of Gravette Christmas parade. The theme for this year's parade is "Dreaming of a White Christmas." The parade will make its way down Main Street Saturday, Dec. 2, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Parade lineup will begin at 3:45 at the Civic Center. The parade route begins at the Civic Center, goes north on First, east on Main and south on Sixth, ending near the school. The parade route is about a mile long. There is no charge to participate in the parade. Anyone desiring to enter a float, walking group or horse entry in the parade can find an entry blank on the city's website or come by city hall to report an intention to participate. Entry forms should be completed and returned to city hall by Friday, Dec. 1. Santa Claus will be riding on a fire truck to conclude the parade and other Santa entries are prohibited.
