DECATUR -- The Decatur Chamber of Commerce will host Pickin' Time on 59 Sept. 28-30 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.in Decatur Veterans Park, located on N. Main Street in Decatur.
Pickin' Time on 59 is a huge yard sale, outdoor flea market, collectible and antique sales event that runs the length of Arkansas Highway 59 from the Siloam Springs Airport to Sulphur Springs.
There will be plenty of space available for anyone wishing to set up a booth at the park, free of charge. The city of Decatur will waive its usual yard-sale fee of $5, and the permit will be good for all three days of the event.
Visitors can find a wide variety of items, from farm equipment to silverware, car parts to jumpsuits, fishing equipment to baseball cards, and much more.
The event is also sponsored by the chambers of commerce from Siloam Springs, Gentry, Gravette and Sulphur Springs.
