— Larry "Grumpy" Jones, owner and operator of Grumpy's Coffee Shop on Arkansas Highway 59 in Gravette, held a birthday party Saturday, March 3, to celebrate his seventh year in business.

The small shop was crowded most of the morning and early afternoon as many customers and friends came by to wish "Grumpy" well. Festive banners and balloons decorated both the outside and the interior of the building. Drawings were held for door prizes.

Free hot dogs and chips were served. Refreshments also included iced tea and coffee drinks and a variety of sweets, including cookies, sweet rolls and doughnuts.
