Gallatin meeting called to learn feasibility of water, Internet projects

— A public meeting hosted by the Benton County Rural Development Authority is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at the Gallatin Fire Station on Fairmont Road to determine if there is interest in a water service project south of Highfill's water service area and east of the Gentry and Siloam Springs service areas.

The meeting is to explore the feasibility of the project to provide affordable, potable water and possibly Internet service to residents of the area between Gentry, Siloam Springs and Tontitown. Engineers and other officials will be present to discuss the proposed projects and answer questions.
