OCH to host annual Easter Eggstravaganza

GRAVETTE -- Ozarks Community Hospital will again host the annual Easter Eggstravaganza, sponsored by the Greater Gravette Chamber of Commerce. The event this year will be held Saturday, March 31, on the grounds of the OCH Clinic at 1101 Jackson Street S.W. Activities will begin at 10 a.m.

A highlight of the annual event is the big Easter egg hunt for children, ages 10 and under. There will be four age groups, with a different hunt time for each. The hunt for children two and under will be held at 10:30 a.m., ages three through five will hunt eggs at 10:45, ages six through eight at 11 a.m. and the hunt for ages nine and 10 will begin at 11:15. There will be about 20 prizes in each age group. The Easter bunny is scheduled to be on hand to join in the fun.

Chamber members promise there will be fun for all ages and plenty of games and activities for the youngsters. A petting zoo will allow them to interact with several baby animals. Free food will be served. Events will go on, rain or shine.

Sponsors of the Eggstravaganza, in addition to the GGCC, include the Bank of Gravett, Austin Drug, Grand Savings Bank, Teasley Drug, Gravette Eye Clinic, 4-H, Ozarks Community Hospital, Gravette Kiwanis Club, Metal Building Supply, Gravette Historical Museum, Boys and Girls Club, the United Methodist Church, First Christian Church, Harvest Baptist Church, Town and Country, Shelter Insurance, Care and Share, Gittlein Farms, Impervicote and Benton County Foods.
